Raquel was born, raised, and schooled in Epsom, Surrey where she lived before heading off to Guy’s Hospital, London where she qualified as a dentist in 1990. After a year of oral surgery and periodontics, she headed to the seaside where she has lived since 1992. 

She has worked in Lewes and practices in Parham and Westdene before moving to White House Dental Practice in 2003. She loves her work, primarily because she has such fantastic patients who have stayed with her for a long long time. She loves the team that she works with, and they try to stop for Popmaster whenever they can!

She loves to continue learning and keep up to date with the latest technology in dentistry – which involves going on lots of courses, buying new toys, and driving her dental nurses nuts!

Out of work, she is married to Paul, a local GP, and has a son and daughter who are both away at Uni, as well as a lockdown puppy called Reggie. 

If she weren’t a dentist, she’d love to own a patisserie and bake yummy cakes all day long! She also loves growing tomatoes and flowers in the summer, as well as getting into a twist with yoga.

Richard qualified from the University of Bristol in 2015 and then did two years of Foundation and Core Training in West Sussex, including a year working in the Maxillofacial Unit of Western Sussex Hospitals Trust. He completed a master’s degree in Primary Care Dentistry at the University of Kent in 2018. He is also a qualified member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons and Physicians, Glasgow.

He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but he particularly enjoys the opportunity it gives him to help people to understand and solve their dental problems together. He likes to get patients involved in their treatment planning, so they can be aware of the options available to them. 

He also works in the local out-of-hours Emergency Dental Service and is due to start work at the Community Dental Service at Morley Street, Brighton. In these services, he is able to offer dental care to patients with financial, social, medical, and mental barriers to it. 

He first joined the practice in 2019 and sadly departed in 2021 to pursue new ventures. He was then given the opportunity to return to the practice in the Spring of 2022 and now works Tuesdays and Fridays as an associate dentist.

He is quite an active person and enjoys running, cycling, and the gym regularly, with his passion for playing cricket in the summer. He is married to a Thai national and he and his wife love spending time together: going to gigs, cooking together, travelling etc. 

He loves to read, his favourite authors currently are Haruki Murakami, Kazuo Ishiguro, David Sedaris, and Laurie Lee.

Dr Austin is a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Consultant in Prosthodontics at King’s College London’s Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences. The Discipline of Prosthodontics focuses on aesthetic restoration and replacement of natural teeth using state-of-the-art technologies for the design and manufacture of dental restorations, including aesthetic veneers, crowns, bridges and implants for oral rehabilitation. Dr Austin is also Service Lead for Digital Dentistry at Guy’s and St.Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust Dental Directorate.

Dr Austin graduated Dentistry with Honours from the University of Manchester (2006), Dental Foundation Training with a Membership at the Royal College of Surgeons of England (2008), a PhD in Enamel Erosion (2011) and Specialty Registrar Training in Prosthodontics with a Masters in Clinical Dentistry with Distinction and Membership in Prosthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (2015). He was appointed an Honorary Consultant in Prosthodontics at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in 2017.

Nikoletta Kafantari was the youngest candidate selected for the MSc programme of Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute University London in 2010, and completed it with distinction.

Nikoletta has gained clinical experience in private practices both in Greece and the UK, and has participated in research programmes regarding new advances in Endodontics in universities in both countries. Her special interest has been the identification of the factors associated with weakening of teeth as a result of endodontic treatment.

Currently, Nikoletta is working as an Endodontist in private practices across Sussex.

Nikoletta has gained the required experience to analyse endodontic problems, discuss available options and select the appropriate treatment for each patient. She can systematically plan the management of an endodontic problem and has the clinical and surgical skills to execute it with a high degree of competence.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor sports.

Yogesh qualified from the Royal London Dental Hospital in 2007, after which he moved to Hove to complete his Vocational Training.

His attention quickly moved to Oral Surgery and he worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. In 2010 he moved back to Brighton to work as a Staff Grade Oral Surgeon at the Royal Sussex County Hospital under Jim Herold and Keith Altman. Alongside working as an Oral Surgeon he worked as a Specialist Registrar in Periodontology and Implants at Guys Dental Hospital from 2011 to 2015.

He has a passion for Periodontology because it is the foundation of all good dental treatment. Periodontal treatment not only saves teeth but has the potential benefit of improving people’s general health. Yogesh’s foundation in Oral Surgery and Periodontology complements his dental implant treatment, especially when complicated bone grafting is needed.

Dr. Pratistha Shrestha graduated from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, India, in 2004. She has been working as an Associate Dentist in the UK since 2013. Prior to this she was working as a General Dental Practitioner in different parts of South East Asia.

Dentistry has always been her passion and her vision to offer caring, comfortable and comprehensive dental care that brings confidence and a smile to your face. She enjoys general dentistry with a special interest in Aesthetic Dentistry. She has been taking various courses relating to Aesthetic Dentistry to ensure that she keeps abreast with the latest techniques in order to provide care as per the individual requirement.

She understands the phobia and anxiety associated with dentistry, hence she believes in creating a comfortable & positive environment for the patients by taking time to explain each stage thoroughly in a reassuring manner.

She has been practicing in both NHS and Private Services for over ten years. She thoroughly enjoys the different aspects of both NHS and Private Dentistry.

In her spare time she enjoys reading books, going for nature walks, nature photography, doing yoga, cooking and spending time with her family.

Dr George Prodromidis graduated from University of Athens (Greece) in 1997. In 1999 he was awarded with a scholarship from the States Scholarship Foundation, Athens, Greece.

He proceeded with his first master’s degree in 1998 and completing it in 2001 when he was awarded with an MSc in Oral Pathobiology and clinical specialty in Oral Medicine and since then he is member of the European Association of Oral Medicine (EAOM)

After his first master’s degree he proceed completing his military service in Greek army for 14 months working as a general Dental Practitioner.

Parallel to his studies, Dr Prodromidis published several papers in Greek and International dental journals. From 2002, he opened his own private practice in the centre of Athens where he continued to treat patients until 2013.

In 2009 Dr Prodromidis obtained his second master degree in Implantology from the University of Muenster in Germany. In 2013 he proceeded with his career in the United Kingdom and since then, he has been working in several practices, treating patients with five-star reviews and testimonials.

Being a scientific mind, Dr Prodromidis obtained his certificate in conscious sedation and pain management from Eastman dental institute (London/UK) in 2015.
Aiming toward a holistic approach when treating his patients, Dr Prodromidis is also a qualified provider of Fastbraces and Invisalign orthodontic treatments and carries out extensive cosmetic dentistry treatment plans. This allowed him, along with his surgical skills, to be able to provide highly aesthetic/cosmetic treatments.

Dr Prodromidis is UK hard-working and reliable dental surgeon with excellent time management skills and increased attention to detail, a confident communicator being able to relate very well to dental patients, aiming for clinical excellence in every aspect of Dentistry and in particular, in the fields of Implantology, Cosmetic dentistry, Oral surgery.

Away from dentistry, George enjoys spending time with his family and friends both in the UK and in Greece. He also partakes in both Jiu Jitsu and running marathons and keeps up with personal training sessions on a weekly basis.

Allison is a long standing member of our team. She has been helping our patients with their gum health and oral hygiene for over 21 years. Her favourite part of her job is building strong relationships with her patients. She also enjoys giving a thorough teeth clean to patients who haven’t had treatment in a long time and finds that giving them great results is always a fulfilling part of the job.

Outside of the practice, Allison enjoys going on dog walks and getting some exercise at the gym. She also likes seeing bands live and listening to live music.

Anna’s favourite part of the job is working alongside a great team and amazing patients. She was born and raised in South Africa with Greek heritage and emigrated to the UK in April 2000.

Anna loves spending time with her family and friends. She also does martial arts and enjoys going to the cinema and cooking. Anna enjoys travelling and exploring, and loves Greece. Her chill out place is Crete, where she loves to visit and relax.

Due to her interest in aesthetics, Jekaterina qualified in her General Beauty Therapy Level 3 as well as Level 4 in lasers and IPL.

She is approachable, easy-going, and friendly. She loves spending time crafting. Although she also enjoys spending time on quiet walks on the seafront, her greatest inspiration is Alan Watts.

She always goes the extra mile to help and even though she is the newest member of the reception team, she already feels part of the family!

Sandi has two grown-up children and a beautiful grand daughter who she loves spending time with. She also likes being a social butterfly and going out with family and friends as well as going on holidays.
